Financial Capability Co-ordinator
Salary: £22,221 pro rata
Hours: 7.5 hours per week
Responsible to: Bureau Manager

We are seeking to recruit a part-time Financial Capability Co-ordinator, based either in Ulverston or Kendal. The post holder will co-ordinate the Volunteer Financial Capability Project, providing a lead to and contact point for the volunteers in the Financial Capability team, and liaising with outside agencies to arrange a schedule of seminars/lessons to be delivered by the financial capability team.

As well as people who want to train as advisers, we also need people who can offer Admin, telephone, clerical back-up and language skills relevant to local needs. Formal qualifications are not needed and many find that the CAB experience can help to provide a route into paid work. We need volunteers from all sections of our community, regardless of age, race, gender or educational background.
You need to be able to commit some regular spare time – usually one day a week – but full training and support is provided. It’s incredibly rewarding to be part of a well trained team all working together to really make a difference to people’s lives.
