Citizens Advice South Lakeland is funded by Cumbria County Council to provide this specialist advocacy service across South Cumbria, for adults who..
- Have mental health problems, or
- Have a physical disability, or
- Are older adults.
The service offers independent advice, help and detailed advocacy on a wide variety of matters, including:
- Health & Care needs
- Care Plans
- Community Care
- Residential Care
- Being a carer
The service staff have considerable experience in dealing with these and other related issues. They will listen to your enquiry, find out about your situation and what you want, identify what might be done and then provide advice and advocacy to help you.
Making Contact
You can speak to them on the phone, meet them face to face in the bureau, or often, they will be able to visit you at home if that is helpful.
